I would like my boat LAUNCHED the week of:

, 2017

The Seawanhaka Boatyard would like to welcome vessel owners to the 2016-2017 storage season. We would like to remind vessel owners that vessels are hauled out based upon the stated launch date, although a requested haul date is also required. Owners who do not provide a haul or launch date will be hauled out at the Boatyard's discretion - which will effect your launch date. An early haul date (i.e. September) will produce a late spring launch date (i.e. May 31st). All vessels must be ready for launch by their requested launch date. If you are scheduled for launch and not ready, your vessel will be moved and your work order billed for a short-haul. Please use realistic dates based upon the work you request of the yard or by the owner. All dates are subject to change based upon Boatyard scheduling, weather and tides. Owners will be notified if their launch date needs to be modified. Dates remain "ON TIME" within a 7-business day period.

Please be sure to read the ENTIRE CONTRACT thoroughly. We have added verbiage to the TERMS & CONDITIONS page which affects balances and payments at time of launch. All vessels must be launched by May 31st as per notification in the terms & conditions. Due to the increasing rules and regulations of Federal/State & Local agencies, only Boatyard employees may prep & paint vessel bottoms - these rates are flat rated based upon length at waterline. Only Boatyard employees may shrink-wrap vessels. The Boatyard cannot take responsibility for work not requested by owner. If you do not wish to request work from the Boatyard, please place a check in the NO WORK box, located at the top of each page. This contract must be returned to the Boatyard in completion, before your vessel may be hauled. A rate sheet packet is included with this contract for your convenience.

I have read and agree to the TERMS & CONDITIONS on the following page and agree to store my vessel at the Seawanhaka Boatyard on SCYC grounds. I have read the contract thoroughly and checked off work that I wish the Boatyard to perform on my vessel at the prices listed within the contract and/or on the enclosed rate sheets. I understand that entering my name and today's date below will serve as my electronic signature of this form:

Boatyard Work Requests
YOU MUST CHECK THE BOX NEXT TO THE WORK DESCRIPTION OR IT WILL NOT BE DONE (numbers listed in red are for Office use only) (ALL PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE). If the need for minor and routine repairs is discovered during the following winterization/de-commissioning and commissioning requests, repairs of up to two (2) hours will be performed immediately, without seeking further authorization. The Boatyard is not responsible for freezing damage that may occur if winterizing work order is submitted after freezing weather has occurred or if schedule backlogs prevent winterization before freeze damage occurs.

NOTE: Items requested on this contract have FIRST priority. Additional work requests in FALL will be done on a first come, first serve. Additional work requested in WINTER & SPRING will be done after all other work requested has been completed.

Haul/Store/Launch charges are billed in the month in which haul or launch takes place and are due within 45 days, except at time of launch in which payment is due immediately.
  15. All storage invoices are due and payable when rendered within 45 days from presentation by SCYC. The Boatyard may stop or reschedule work on said vessel for delinquent accounts, which may cause delays in launching and/or additional storage fees, for which the Boatyard will not be held responsible.
  16. If the estimated cost of hauling/storage and requested work order on a non-SCYC member's vessel exceeds $2,500, SCYC reserves the right, before performing any work, to obtain security to ensure its lien rights and will not be subordinate to other encumbrances affecting the vessel.
  17. Non-Members are required to pay a non-refundable deposit 50% of H/S/L rate. Members who cancel H/S/L will be charged 20% of H/S/L rate.
  18. Vessels not ready by their scheduled launch date will be moved at the owner's expense and incur additional storage charges if applicable.
  19. Owners must return all pages of contract regardless of work requested. Check off the NO WORK box on each page if applicable.
  20. Vessel keys and/or combination # must be provided to the Boatyard. If the vessel has an active wireless security system, we require that it be deactivated from when the boat is removed from its mooring until it is placed in its storage location. When the boat is launched we will require its deactivation until it is placed on a mooring.
